ALAO's Instruction Interest Group is proud to announce our 2014 Spring Workshop, which promises to invigorate instruction librarians with hands-on learning, conversation, and community. Headlining our event is Immersion Faculty Michelle Millet (Director, John Carroll University Library), kicking off our program with a presentation entitled, "Doing it Backwards and Closing the Loop: Information Literacy, Backwards Design, and Assessment." Also at this year’s workshop – an instruction librarian panel on discovery layers and a series of lightning round mini sessions, highlighting tools to use in your instruction classroom. .
